HOSTIS - juridical magazine

Welcome in section HOSTIS - juridical magazine! The European Commission, Directorate General for Justice, Freedom and Security supports the OPU project to raise among judges, lawyers, civil servants at the Interior Ministry, employees at the alien police and the general public’s on asylum and migration. This will be achieved through the production of a quarterly magazine called Hostis. The publication will address advances and interpretations of asylum law exercised in other EU countries, asserted by the UNHCR or which were created by the Czech courts. The publication will also increase the accessibility of information on the situation in the countries which are generating refugees. It is anticipated that the dissemination of this information will influence positively the quality of the decision-making process, particularly in the above mentioned individuals that are involved in the asylum process. At the same time, the project aims to improve the quality of the state administration’s performance regarding its relations with asylum seekers.
