During interantional ccooperation in the Work in Prague project was published brochure "Critical Success Factors for Integration". This brochure was made in cooperation with Dutch partners. Projekt na podporu žadatelů o mezinárodní ochranu na letišti v Praze-Ruzyni
Projekt ,,Právní a zdravotní pomoc vybraným kategoriím žadatelům o udělení mezinárodní ochrany – Přijímací středisko MV ČR Ruzyně“ je od ledna 2008 novým projektem OPU. Projekt je realizován s finanční podporou Evropského fondu pro uprchlíky. Aktivity projektu jsou zaměřeny na skupinu žadatelů o udělení mezinárodní ochrany s důvodnými žádostmi o udělení mezinárodní ochrany a žadatele patřící mezi zranitelné skupiny osob (váleční uprchlíci, oběti mučení a obchodu s lidmi, staré osoby, samotné ženy, rodiče samoživitele atd.) Cílové skupině bude poskytnuta právní pomoc za účasti kvalifikovaného tlumočníka a rovněž v některých případech i úhrada poplatků spojených se zdravotní péčí. Realizace projektu: 1/2008 – 12/2008.

Anouncement of the starting a new project “Escalation in foreigners‘ ability to be employed”
Organization for Aid to Refugees has launched a new project “Escalation in foreigners‘ ability to be employed” in the frame of the 4th call of JPD3 – Expansion and Increase of Individual Direction of Employment Active Policy that is financed by European Social Fund and budget of Czech Republic.
The activities of the project are focused on those who have permanent residence or status of international or subsidiary protection and who live in the territory of Prague and are in register of Labour office as a job candidate or a job applicant.
Following activities are provided:
free legal and social counselling – especially the following topics: Labour Law, Business Law, Foreigners Act
skills audit - probing of assumption and abilities for the needs of contraction of employment
courses of professional Czech language* (concurs the skills audit)
professional re-qualification courses* (concurs the skills audit)
*courses will be covered only for those clients who fulfil the conditions of the project but 20 clients at most

Sheltered Housing for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees (UAM’s)
By the end of the year 2007 we successfully finished the project “Preparation of Sheltered Housing for UAM’s” which was financed by European Refugee Fund. The city hall of Prague has provided us with the housing premises and support of our purpose. The service is called “Supported Housing for Young Refugees” and will be provided to those whom leave the Facility for Children – Foreigners. There will be housing afforded up to one year as well as social assistance for obtaining the social skills, communication with authorities and major society, assistance when looking for a job and own housing. The main goal of the project is the preparation of young refugees for their own private lives.
We start to provide the service in spring 2008. We furnish the housing at the present time and looking for someone who is able and will to donate refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven, iron, and teakettle.
