Trump is in the office
On Monday 27 January, we received a letter from two important and respected donors, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the European Network on Statelessness (ENS), telling us to immediately stop all project activities due to US President Donald Trump’s Stop-Work-Order, which immediately halted all US foreign aid. For us, this is especially painful for Ukrainian refugees, many of whom live with disabilities, are cancer patients, need hospital escorts from OPU, humanitarian aid payments, financial help with rent, paying for medicine, paying for clubs and trips for refugee children. The volume is about CZK 700 000. We have therefore appealed to the public and other donors to cover this unpleasant event.
